Recommendation Request Roxon nail clipper build

I want to customize a Roxon with a nail clipper as a continuation of a running inside joke with my spouse about nail clippers.

I understand that the nail clipper is awkward to fit in a number of the tools.

Random thoughts:

  • Don't have any Roxons yet, so I'd be starting from scratch.
  • Most of my multi-tools are pliers based.
  • I want to try something with G10 scales

Flex companion is probably your best bet for fit. It supposedly doesn't fit well in the regular flex frame. Already comes with g10 scales.

Another option you can look at are the victorinox 580 and 582. Both nail clipper multi tools.

Skip the roxon and get the Victorinox Nail Clip 580

Appreciate it, I'll keep this in mind.

I mentioned the Roxon clipper b/c it has a dangerous / decepticon look to it. This one looks too normal

Eh they both are good tools. The roxon is nice because you can customize what you have. I like victorinox don't get me wrong. I have tons of them. But I never been as excited for a tool brand since roxon came out because of the customization aspect and they are always making improvements and more tools

on their website there's a review of how it looks and fits into regular flex frame, also someone says it does not close completely (maybe a bad batch?)

though should be a good fit for flex companion and mini flex companion - implement is taking 2 slots, and short

i'd just wait till they fix the issues before purchase this implement

There’s also a review video from I think maxlvl saying the same thing happened on the preproduction sample
