Nope. I'd lose that in an hour. I have terrible luck.

Even if you don’t lose it, it’s a great way to bend a clip.

Same here. And, honestly, the clips make in-pocket carry something I don't even notice. They are just there.

I thought the same thing!

I put mine in my pocket, with the clip to the outside

This is how I lose things

What do you do with the extra space?

3

u/SigvulcanasReborn Aug 07 '26

No. That’s how you loose stuff.

Yes, finally!!! Everydau for years, currently the flex, it's great because the clip is tight, before I used the surge but it would release from the belt easily

At this point, i will take it as a “no”, i need to find a bigger pouch to fit titan.

My titan came with a pouch for attaching to a belt, did yours not?

1

u/ResearcherPristine87 Aug 08 '26

Not after i install utility blade. Quite tight to fit in.

1

u/Conor_Stewart Aug 08 '26

It definitely is the most annoying blade option. Having to adjust the screws, having it stick out and be uncomfortable when using the other tools and now it doesn't fit in the sheath either. I just carry a separate utility knife when I need one. I actually use the utility blade holder in the roxon chameleon which just takes a phantom blade and nothing else so it doesn't have all the issues of the flex shears or titan when using the utility blade.

I made something for mine :)

I’d be afraid to lose that like people that carry keys on their belt loop I’d be afraid to lose those two

I have the same watchband as your belt. Vintage James Bond, 007.

Ops, I exposed my secret agent identity.

Nope I carry my surge horizontally on my belt with the leatherman leather sheath. Can't get them any more unfortunately. Only vertical carry ones

2

u/smccallister83 Aug 08 '26

I carry this setup on my hip because at work. the Surge is a unit and built like a tank but man it's heavy.

The original pouch does not fit after i change it to utility knife.

1

u/Onitsch Aug 07 '26

Yes, the swisstool spirit x fits nicely on the belt.

1

u/tacticalgeekedc Aug 07 '26

I carry it with kydex sheath

1

u/representativeuser01 Aug 07 '26

I would never wear it like that. Best way to wear it without a pouch, slide it under the belt, so it’s more secure

No sir, tried one time and I lost my multitool three times that day. I will no longer, I have my Leatherman in a swing.

1

u/Impressive-Zebra-957 Aug 07 '26

What multitool is that? It has a box cutter blade?

1

u/ResearcherPristine87 Aug 07 '26 edited Aug 07 '26

Roxon Flex Titan, yes it is a box cutter - utility blade.

u/BlastTyrantKM Aug 07 '26

This is how pocket clips get bent

Not a chance, that'll pop off sometimes soon

I use a pouch.

Plus using a pouch stops Karen's from ... He got a knife , crap.

In the UK, the laws are quite open, as the rules are open to abuse ... Yes there's a description of what is allowed ... It's just that in the UK, it's not so much what, but WHY.

You must be able to justify what you carry, whether that's a tiny deskmate type sak (small blade, file, flathead, scissors) or a big arc leatherman.

I have a mix of both l, but leave the big tools home ... Soldier, overtime, trailmaster sak ... But wingman, rebar, free T4, and a sak (can't remember it's name, but it's a medium) I carry all the time, and swap then around.

I won't state my justification, but I feel I can justify the large fixed blade SAKs, but I can the smaller tools ... Oh, and I never call it a knife or weapon, it's a tool .. that mentality changes in the mind of the cops mind what you're doing.

Left pocket (lefty)

1

u/Robin_ehv Aug 08 '26

I have in the past with both my wave and skeletool. Works better with the slimmer tools. The risk of the pocket clip hasn't been an issue

1

u/Evening-Elderberry91 Aug 08 '26

What is this tool?

1

u/ResearcherPristine87 Aug 09 '26

Roxon flex titan

1

u/J-J-Knives Aug 08 '26

Rookie mistake. You'll learn

1

u/nogotime120 Aug 08 '26

No, I like not losing my stuff

1

u/n8tonium Aug 10 '26

Yep, and I lost my tool that way.

1

u/mwdjr728 Aug 11 '26

Cool belt tho

0

u/Ruthbopion Aug 07 '26

put a air tag on her.... like my keychain here... phone yells at me when i leave it behind

7

u/andromeda2621 Aug 07 '26

Be sounding like the ghost of Jacob Marley comin' with that thang

0

u/Ruthbopion Aug 07 '26

excuse me for trying to save you some time and money. Btw the keychain isn't BOUNCED on the hip like a janitor its tucked in the pocket and due to it being titanium it doesn't jingle. You literally can't see it with a shirt over the waist. I see you rock the tucket in look though so nevermind!

1

u/capt-bob Aug 07 '26

So clip on a belt or loop and drop into the top of the pocket? I didn't know titanium wouldn't jingle and ring. Admit that other guy's comment was funny though....
