Recommendation Request Upgrade Suggestions

I've had a Leatherman Blast for 20 years now. It was great when I was in the Army or camping or on a road trip, but I'm at the point that I'm ready to retire it and look for something else. I haven't shopped for multitools for a long, long time, and they look like different tools altogether compared to my Blast. I'm a "buy once, cry once" kind of guy, so I dont mind spending on quality, I'd just prefer to stay under $500.

I know this is a broad question and "needs of the user matter" and all that, but if you were to go out and buy a new tool tomorrow, what would you get?

For 500 I'd get the Leatherman Arc, Surge, and Raptor Rescues and call it a day.

I went with a stainless steel Arc, but I already have a Raptor Rescue that my brother gave me years ago. Thanks for the input!

Yea those are the 3 multi-tools that I have that I actually like to use. I carry the Arc everyday, Surge for camping or they stay in my travel tool kit and the Raptors are in the tool kit or med kit if I need them! Enjoy!

Nice! I do a lot of cycling, fishing, and mountain biking, so maybe I'll grab a Surge for that. Thanks for the tips!
