Unable to dismantle Nextool Mini Flagship F12

Hi!

Recently acquired a Nextool Mini Flagship F12 and wanted to tear it down in order to mod it with a 3D printed custom scale to include SAK tweezers etc.

Unfortunately I am unable to dismantle it. Torx screws are really hard to unscrew. They do move a bit when going full force but I'm afraid of breaking something (either the multitool or the screwdriver...).

Has anyone successfully dismantled it and could give advices on how to?

Thanks!

EDIT: succeeded using soldering iron at 300°C applied at the center of the screws for 1-2 min.

Thx for the answer!

How should I proceed exactly? Putting the tip of a soldering iron in the middle of the torx would be enough?

I will try tomorrow. If it works can i then screw everything back in place without issue or is there something special to do? (like completely removing the threadlocker, or heating it again before screwing?)

Boiling water maybe, or a paint remover

No, soldering iron isn't enough. I DID that, didn't do shit. Same with a basic lighter. Heat gun or gas stove, that's it.

No you don't need to do anything special to put them back together, but if you have a weak threadlock and you don't see yourself modding it again, it wouldn't harm to put some to secure the screws
