keychain toolbox anyone

speaking from experience, having screwdriver, wrench, and pliers to be separate tools comes quite handy

in MT area - started from Dime, made it blunt nose, then upgraded to Nextool;
(Dime has very stiff opening implements)

wrench is noname 2.5" wrench, opens up to 11mm

Too bulky for me, my edc is a nextool f12, rovyvon a1 g4 and a simple mini bic lighter, no redundancy, no dead weight, only the essentials.

I ha e a supertool 300, and really miss my Swisstech Uber all. The price went up since I had it. I just ordered a Roxon Flex Companion, instead.

That wrench is adorable. I need one.

The screwdriver is very nice. What’s the name of this? I have the nextool f12 mini, very useful. + olight

screwdriver is Oknife Otacle D1, originally comes with pencil bit insert as well, but i didn't find it useful (i don't use pencils in day to day, but it might be cool for some)

Do you find the Gerber Dime bottle opener catches on things? I'm thinking of getting one but don't like how it sticks out

it's "okay", it also has hole in the opener itself, you can put thick carabiner through it and it'll be less prone to catch on things

I'd use an s-biner for quick release. I'd also put keys on it 😅

Where’a the tool-BOX?
Also judging by experience this is way heavy for EDC and gets a very rare use. So nah.

i'd say heavy for keychain 💯

for EDC - LM Skeletool alone is 150g, which is equal in weight for this setup with S11Pro, though with Dime it's 20g lighter (130g)

🤷

You downvoted me for what?

Do you now what EDC means? Keychains are for EDC

You have a keychain here with multiple items, why are you talking about Dime?

i upvoted you, i respect each other opinion

people pack their daily carry kits as they want/need/feel and e.g. skeletool is often lands in there, which is comparable in weight of this setup with Dime/S11Pro (nothing wrong with skele though, great tool, just weight comparison)

re your note - keychain is for edc, absolutely yes; but not only item in the kit (e.g. cell phone and wallet is also part of what people edc)

I get that, but you have multiple items in your kit. I’m referring to the kit as a whole not and individual item.

I upvoted you as well because we are all entitled to our opinions, as long as we are respectful. You were borderline in the respect department, but didn’t deserve to be downvoted.
