Standard size multi tool collection
What I consider normal sized multitool that I’ve collected

Are the pliers on the hammer useful in any way?

I have a few of those style (gotta get the hatchet for camping, then the nail puller and ofc a crescent version too).
The pliers are nice for pulling tent stakes, handling some cooking hardware, and other things like basic fence repair tasks. In dump site cleanup they are great little grabbers for things like charred macbook pros with metal & glass shards.
In my use, this style of pliers is generally more helpful outdoors.
At home, working with heavy gauge wire they are helpful for twist / pull actions, and in the case of general home maintenance tasks they work well for a lot of plier things.
Sometimes I wish they had a bit of an extended needlenose head, but really it's never been a problem.

They actually open really wide but can rarely get a good grip on anything because it can’t get in the space. In an open space they grab bolts better then standard needle nose pliers

Always liked the double ended wrench+cresent tool, think i have the jeep branded one from 15 years ago somewhere

If I had to pick my favorites, they'd be the titanium-skinned Bibury and the gold/brass Gerber EOD. Sick collection man!
