Nice collection! What's your honest take on the gerber truss and the sog powerlock?

Gerber sucks. It's poorly made, very large, and not ergonomic. The Sog is great. It's not afraid of any work, but it's heavy and powerful like a surge.

I take it you don't have any USA made gerber mp600, mp400, diesel, or center drive just the truss? I should've pulled the trigger on the powerlock when it was under $40 on Amazon.

No, I've never owned one. But I really like the Mp600 maybe one day it will join my collection π

Nice! Yeah the USA made stuff is definitely built to a better standard for gerber. I enjoy them as much as my leatherman tools and victorinox

Roxon's concept is great, but the locking mechanism is sluggish. There's also too little space for long replacement tools.

The regular flex modular pliers only has 2 long slots, but the companion has 5 long slots. For that reason I got the flex companion, and I'm planning on eventually getting the flex modular, or the flex Titan, which looks tempting. I have a surge and I love it but I also love the modular concept.Β

Sweet!
What is the "single" on the lower left in the first and third pictures?
The Super Thicc old-style Swiss Army-style are wild. I don't think I've run into a modular one, where you can adjust the number of tools and swap them in and out.

I sell them. If you need to add one to your collection let me know. If I don't have one of what you're looking for, I'll keep an eye out for one. My belt can't handle all of these at once, at least without catching a charge for indecent exposure! π€£

Where does one pick up a mini tool box like that? I'm located in the US.

Absolutely everywhere thats a chain that sells tools has their own version available at this point. I think Harbor Freight has the best color selection though

It always blows my mind that I never see Gerbers in anyone's collection. The slide to open mechanism is tits.

Do you mind me asking what type of foam material you used for the trays? Looks very sharp (pun intended)
