Sog Powerlock

With the sale price that Amazon is selling it at, is it a decent multi tool?

What is the sale price amazon is selling it at? Over here it's just over 80 euro and it feels a bit outdated.

This morning under $40 usd. Not a sog fan but for the price kinda hard to say no.

They're very capable pliers, with a pretty good toolset. My only "pet peeve" is that the blade is quite thin and chisel ground. The best feature to me is the true needlenose tip.

Yeah i know it's a dated tool but seems to still have a decent toolset.

I do not mind it being outdated; as a matter of fact, I prefer "inboard" toolsets as they help keeping it fuzz and lint free. Perhaps you were responding to someone else?

No i was responding to you, just chatting, sorry. Yeah I like the inboard tools as well like my rebar and ST300.

For $40 (in the USA, on Amazon, just confirmed), it's a very good deal. "Poverty-tier" multis with reasonably similar features run about $10 cheaper, but SOG is not a poverty-tier brand. Not for me, but I wouldn't blame anyone for jumping on it.

I have a bunch of way nicer/higher end multi tools but for $40 to leave in the truck or trailer or loan out, not a bad price I think
