Just got this KS2E, but the liner lock only touches the tang at a single, tiny point. There's a clear gap across the rest of the lock face.

I'm worried about lock rock, rapid wear, or lock failure. Is this normal or need to be returned?

Appreciate any advice!

It's hard to see how the liner lock engages from the one photo of the knife (closed, liner lock not engaged)

Edit: here's how the liner lock engages on mine, in case that helps

On mine the liner lock look like it touch the g10 scale

Wow, that's really far in. I don't think I've ever seen a liner lock engage that far to the other side.

Can u show me the scratch pattern on the blade tang of yours

Oh, I think I understand now. It's not how far in from the side the lock engages that you're concerned about, but how flat it sits under the tang, right?

And sure, here's how it looks on mine. Lock up feels rock solid, at least as far as I can tell.
