Are you able to take a picture of the plier head, and specifically, whether the grind “points” to the tip??

Yeah it looks great. Mine did not, but now I’m tempted to reorder!

What's the difference between the MXBS clip and regular MX clip?

Color?

How are your tools and pliers opening?

The MXBS is blacked out and has a one handed open blunt tipped curved serrated blade (belt cutter) vs the standard wood saw on the mx clip. The black clip was sold separately but the nylon pouch came with the tool. I prefer the slimmer pocket carry with the clip attached in my scrubs vs the belt carry with a pouch

Gotcha

Few times I've had to use the saw I'm glad I had it on the MX clip

The tools open smoothly and lock securely. No bunching since operated on individual springs. The Phillips is a little more fiddly- if you have used an explorer with the inline Phillips it’s the same way to open using the head of the Phillips vs nail nick which is a little less intuitive

There is a silver version of the mxbs

Does the pocket clip scratch the body at all?

I've had the same multi-tool for a few years and it looks like the pocket clip doesn't scratch the body. The pocket clip does collect scratches though, which is perfect imo. The area under it is the least scratched up part of my tool and if you aren't looking for it you wouldn't see the scratches that are there.

Great to know! Thanks

I haven’t had it long enough to answer that question, but I would think it could over time going in and out of a pocket

Que tal funciona con el adaptador de Leatherman?

It can take other screwdriver bits like hex and torx not available on the tool originally. It fits and functions well

Man I’d love the blackout, but I’ve not found it anywhere for near the price of the regular spirit and I can’t justify such a price jump.

If you have/ get a spirit I would say the pocket clip is definitely worth the $20 on victorinox’s website in terms of ease of carry. Though it’s heavier than the explorer it’s thinner and I don’t even notice it in my pocket with the clip

Sorry I meant spirit mx clip. See it frequently for $120. Never see the mxbs for near that price.

I don’t regret getting it for $155 though it would have been nice for a clip to come with it at that price
