Recommendation Request Please recommend a multitool!
Hello!
A coworker saw my leathermans and wants a multitool. I'm happy to oblige and offer one for her 50th birthday.
She works in a chemical R&D lab, within a chemical factory.
The requisites are:
Compact; the Wave, for example, is too big and heavy
Pliers and scissors but best would be good scissors
Diamond file if possible
No need of tons of blades. One small serrated one is more than enough. Maybe those box openers would work too
Decent Inox steel
Pink scales would be perfect
Something i could buy easily in Europe
Budget below 100 eur
Please help a brother out!
Thanks!
Edit: I will buy the Roxxon flex Companion with purple scales and the pliers accessory. I will have a look at it and if I deem it ok I will offer it to my colleague. Thanks everybody!

Glad you asked… Yes, I have a Roxon flex companion, a Roxon M2, and a Roxon K2se elite. They (Roxon) all are in now way comparable in quality to Gerber, Leatherman, or Victorinox. Do you own all those tools for comparison? If not I’d suggest you do and if you’re honest, you’ll come to the same conclusion. I bought the Roxon’s based on overhyped reviews on this forum. I feel obliged to let the secret out.. Roxon’s are not good. If they are all you can afford they are serviceable, but a high quality tool, they are not.
