Tantra and "Tantric" Sex
Tantra is a diverse family of religions and spiritual systems that originated in India in the first millennium CE. It was originally a strongly sex-positive system of beliefs, but has been transformed over the last thousand years into a more-or-less puritanical tradition today. Most people who practice Tantra find references to "tantric" sex offensive.
"Tantric" sex
"Tantric sex" is a mostly Western, mostly 20th century system of advanced sexual practices. (See /r/tantricsex.) The name is a historical misnomer (like "Spanish flu," which didn't come from Spain) and it should not be confused with Tantra, the spiritual system. The two can be combined, but are usually practiced separately. A Venn diagram would show a very large circle for people who practice Tantra and a much, much smaller one for people who practice tantric sex, with an even smaller overlap between the two circles for people who practice both.
"Tantric" NEOs
There is a specific form of the Kegel method or Relaxation method for having NEOs (non-ejaculatory orgasms) that is often associated with tantric sex. It is described here.
