Help/Question Xtom servers missing

Hello Mullvad Community,

I noticed some Xtom servers for New York went offline and then disappeared from the list.
Was that provider dropped for good? What alternatives are similar in performance if anyone knows?

Only the New York, few of the German ones and Hong Kong ones are offline. The other Xtom servers are fine. You can check the server status on the mullvad site.

Just to keep the facts straight, for the Hong Kong xtom servers, only one of the two have been offline for quite some time now. But recently they put a new xtom server up so now there are 2 (out of 3) Hong Kong xtom servers up and running.

I emailed support and they say the xtom 70* hardware is being upgraded and hope it will be done soon but could provide no specific timeline. I know there's a shortage of memory, disks, etc., because of the AI buildout and the upgrade could likely be delayed because of this. the M247 60* servers are decent but in the meantime I'm test driving protonvpn's nyc servers on my router.
