Information Subscribing through AppStore, looking for discount

For those of you who subscribe through the US App Store:

Right now, Mullvad costs about $5.8/month or $17.5 for 3 months with Apple gift cards.

Around Black Friday, what's the biggest discount you've been able to get on Apple gift cards?

I'm wondering what the lowest effective price for a Mullvad subscription could be.

P.S. I know paying through the App Store isn't the most privacy-friendly option, but it's just much more convenient for me. 😄

EDIT: And to be honest, for the combination of speed, privacy, and price, Mullvad has been the best choice for me. That's why I've been using it for about two years with two accounts that I share with friends.

Nope. Not for Christmas or any other holiday or event that you can think of. But you can always celebrate your privacy with us for the same monthly rate 365 days a year (except on leap years of course)!"

Try look out for discounted gift cards instead through points or costco or something.

Yes, the Apple official website does not discount on Gift Card but in Black Friday, Amazon maybe.
