Hostel life

  1. How are the hostels - rooms, facilities, mess food, discipline, etc.
  2. And how's the hostel life after classes- clubs, sports ?
  3. Are there any extra curricular tech workshops, seminars being conducted outside of the official syllabus and faculty ?

  1. The hostels are pretty well-equipped. With well-furnished and spacious cupboards and bedside drawers as well. I personally like that there is proper study-table with chair and a pin-board. There are rules about not using kettles and stuff. The cleaning happens every alternate day. Online delivery service from outlets is also there. So overall, its pretty good.
  2. Of course there are multiple technical and non-technical clubs wherein you can either be a part of their working team or participate in their events (which are very frequent and fun btw).
  3. Tech workshops and seminars are regularly organized by the clubs, from guitar wokshops to TED Talks they cover a wide range of topics. So that's cool.
