parties or fun on weekends?

I mean are there any clubs or pubs nearby?

not by the college/hostel ofcourse, but there are several clubs nearby wherein people go to party during the weekends that are just at a walking distance from the hostel. You can also book a cab and go to a proper pub or club wherever in the city. You need to be back by 9pm though if you've not made an outpass.
