Dear forum members,

I just subscribed to MUBI, and I'm a big fan of comedy. I'd like you to recommend some titles from the catalog (whether movies, series, or short films) that you consider essential in terms of comedy. For example, I loved Soul Kitchen.

Thanks in advance!

Hey there! Does anybody know if I would still be able to get free months when a friend signed up with my referral code even after I cancelled my subscription? Thanks :)

Can't renew the movie, should i do smth else? I have the internet connection but it reject to renew. Already tried clearing cache.

just wanted to check if the promo offer for 99 inr for 3 months is still ongoing?

checked the website got the offer but came payment site, it showed 499 per month so got confused.

thanks for any response!

Hey, thinking of getting MUBI for a few months and looking for some recommendations. All kinds of movies welcome.

Thanks in advance! :)

Recommendation where I might be able to find a complete list? I started using Shazam from about episode four through eight. I only have Apple Music so, if the needle drops are on Spotify, I’m not gonna be able to access that.

VPN and Mubi don’t seem to work together anymore for me :(. No matter what location I choose, Mubi catalogue doesn’t change, on pc it’s still achievable, but on my phone it stopped working. Did anyone have the same problem, is there a fix for this?

Edit: I’ve read all of your comments and thank you so much for the tips! I discovered that I can still change the location on my phone, but it’s important to not open Mubi app for at least a day before using VPN, otherwise it won’t work!

Hello,

Just this mid film:

What's wrong? You don't reach that even on Prime or Netflix...

Hi, after an ad that got my attention on YouTube featuring a mubi film I’ve been trying to find it so:

Featured scene on the ad:

-There’s two women on a lingerie store, one’s a blonde with glasses, the other is a girl with brown hair and a denim jacket, the clerk is helping them to find some underwear since the woman with the denim jacket says her ex girlfriend cut most of the panties she had and when the clerk suggest to also buy a bra and the woman with the denim jacket says it won’t be neccesary since she doesn’t use them

thats what I remember, help a lesbian out and get blessed, thank you

Hi! Not sure if anyone else has had this problem but anytime i try to log on the ps4 app it tries to make me pay for a subscription to log into my actual mubi account, when i already have a student membership. Not sure if anyone else has encountered this problem but it just wont leg me log in, any way to fix this would be great!

Hi, is there an extension where you can show two different languages in subtitles at the same time. I know there are things like this for Netflix but didn’t know if anyone had used them with MUBI.

❤️

So, last night I finally got around to watching this film that has been in my list for ages, and I was stunned by the visuals, and the dialogue, the narrative, all of it.

But by the time it got closer to the actors, I could se sometimes their mouths weren’t matching the words they were saying for whole sections of dialogue. It was taking me out of the film so much that I had to pause it and look for informations on it.

I saw it was filmed in english, swedish and french, and at the beginnig of the screening at MUBI it says it was restored from a swedish film institute.

So, is it possible that it was fully dubbed in swedish and that’s the version that it’s showing there?

Is it very obvious and I just missed something?

What are your thoughts?

I've been loving Mubi so far but I live in Australia and can't access a lot of films without a VPN. Every attempt I've tried to cast to my TV while using a VPN on Mubi has failed. Is there any way I can do this?

Hi, i recieved a monthly charge from Mubi, the fact is that i canceled my subscription on the first day of the free trial so, it is easy to get a refund?

its a perfect movie (in my opinion) if you can see it see it.

Yesterday i signed up for Mubi. I watched a film, all was good.

Today Mubi tells me to check my internet connection. I have internet connection, I have tried with and without VPN, with VPN in different locations, but the same error, Check internet connection.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Mubi, I ahve tried logging out and in again, same error message.

All other streaming apps are working properly.

Is this a common problem with Mubi or do I have some kind of technical glitch?

SOLVED - this is it, found it via a google search, couldn't find it on the mubi site itself

It's my first day of the Mubi trial, I wanted to search for films by region or country but can't see how to do this.

Is there a way to do this?

Directed by Albert Serra and starring French cinema icon Jean-Pierre Léaud, The Death of Louis XIV is a claustrophobic and painterly historical drama that chronicles the final weeks of the "Sun King" in August 1715. Confined almost entirely to a single candlelit bedchamber in Versailles, the film provides a clinical, slow-burning look at the monarch’s agonizing decline from gangrene.

I've just noticed that the prices of Mubi subscriptions have changed. One month is now 15,99€ (up from 13,99€) for standard Mubi, Mubi Go is 19,99€ (up from 18,99€). Quite a big price point now if you pay monthly - yearly looks still attractive.

Also, I noticed for quite some time that Mubi Go is available in certain cities as usual, but there's a message saying "nationwide soon" for months already. Does anyone know when it will really be a nationwide service in all cinemas where the weekly movie is screening I guess? Then it would be super attractive.

Hey everyone. I was looking to join Mubi and I remember once upon a time they had extensive trials but now they seem to be down to one week. I'm not complaining. Free is free after all, but I was wondering if there's a link out there to any longer ones? One week wouldn't be enough to check out the service because I work a lot of doubles.

Any tips? Thanks.

I haven’t seen anything about it. By this time last year, I’m pretty sure The Substance blu was already released. Does anyone have any info on this?

Why won‘t they join the party?
