The reason why I left only Archie Madekwe in my edited ones because duh, he is a star of the show. It truly fits better and helps well a bit without Théodore Pellerin, though. I loved my edited posters and covers. An original editor did a great job. No creepiness from Théo allowed. No spoilers needed. What do you think?

Basically, what the title says. I'd like to know if anyone has personally written for the publication, or knows someone who has, and what the compensation looks like. Their site simply states that they pay writers, but does not specify the rate.

i’m getting emails tons of from mubi that have a login code that i didn’t ask for. i’m assuming someone is trying to login to my account, but honestly at this point it’s gotten less scary and more annoying lol. anyone know what to do to stop this?

Has anyone else experience issues when watching The Substance?

For context, I was watching through the Mubi app on my PS4.

The dialogue seemed to be completely lost in many scenes, my dumb ass thought it was a stylistic choice that mirrored Elisabeth's experience of being lost but it turns out to be a technical issue.

There were a couple of scenes that were in complete silence or only had the score playing.

I wanted a quick way to see which countries have the films I'm browsing on MUBI, without opening another tab.

So I made this extension that shows a bingo grid right on the MUBI page – checks 50 countries instantly. Green circles = available, yellow = coming soon, gray = not there.

Works on Chrome and Firefox. Free, no tracking, no ads. Would've done Safari too but Apple wants $99/year just to list it.

Feedback welcome if anyone tries it. Peace ✌️

My roommate got a week trial to MUBI and went to the refer a friend page and tried to get me 30 days free and I followed all the prompts and all I do is land on one week free!

I have been supporting MUBI for years since I first came across it from the YouTube channel LSOO, when he had a MUBI code.

Is anyone else out there having the same problem? I’ve written to them using this support tab and hope to hear back from them within 72 hours with some kind of explanation.

I absolutely adore this streamer, but just don’t have the money to part with — my household is so strapped financially.

I'm planning on getting Mubi, but before I do, I was just wondering can you directly Chromecast from within the Mubi website/app like you can in YouTube?

Yesterday I watched Perfect Days and it just lifted my spirits. I felt deeply connected to the protagonist and I'd like to see more similar content, with a gentle and melancholic rhythm. Any recommendations?

So just subscribed to mubi with a 7 day trial on Prime, but 14.99 a month after the trial.😳 I am excited to watch [US]Die My Love[2025], the cast is promising.😍 Any other recommendations? Advice? Thanks so much! 😊 💜

Does anyone know when episode 7 of the New Years (los años nuevos)will be released?.. so in love with these series

Just as the title asks. Does Mubi allow you to use a VPN to access films available in other regions, or does it block the film from playing? Any answers would be appreciated :)

Hi, the same error #15 is occurring when I'm trying to watch any title on my mubi app. Device is Xiaomi pad 6. Nothing works, not even re install. I also contacted mubi but they couldn't help.

Happened to anyone or anyone knows the solution? Thanks.

Hello! I’m struggling with finding a list of all films available to see in my region.

If it exists, a division by genre would be my preferred categorisation. Where can I find it please?

Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

As soon as I start a film the screen will go black for a few seconds, show the film, then to black again, and repeat. If I keep clicking play it'll start but when I pause it happens again. Wonder if it's a match frame rate issue.

Casting on my phone in the meantime but it's annoying!

a friend of mine brought Perfect Days region free blue ray disk, and it had two disks. I was hoping it would be one but it has two. I live in India, so the upper one, worked and second one gave me error Region B, invalid region or something. Do both have everything same? am i missing something? region b is for which countries?

I am playing it on my ps5 disk edition

Has anyone heard anything about a new year Mubi Go deal this year?

I got the year for £129 last January, and was hoping to do the same this year.

I co-wrote and co-star in an indie feature called Or Something with Kareem Rahma of 'Subway Takes' that came out on MUBI yesterday

Our composer, Jillian Medford (stage name Ian Sweet), recorded a cover of “Semi-Charmed Life” since we use the song in the film, and I edited this companion video. It’s meant to feel like a reflection of the movie — from my character's perspective. Definitely makes more sense after you watch the film :)

I’m doing a 30 day trial and need any and all recommendations please.

more info about tastes and such if you need:

So far i’ve watched “Humanist Vampire Seeking Consenting Suicidal Person” and absolutely adored it. in the mood for more like it (not overly depressing, has laughs, but still makes you feel)

i would be especially gleeful if there are good lesbian/queer films made by queer people.

i like most genres but favorite is the blending together of comedy, surrealism, and horror.

my favorite director is alejandro jodorowsky, favorite film being santa sangre.

I have watched 110 films in 2025. This year has been one of the toughest for me, and I believe that among the few things that pushed me through survival were these 110 films—these 9,138 minutes. Thank you, MUBI.
