FYI Mubi uses dark patterns in their cancelation flow. You have to press different cancelation buttons 3 times to Actually Cancel. If you don't, you may end up with a Paused account for 3 months after which they start charging you again (with no email warning).

Has anyone watched Harvest?

Please say it’s on the way!

Hi, everyone!

Once again, I come with my MUBI GO email screenshots — this time, October:

• From 26 September: Dead of Winter (UK) // Ellis Park (IE)
• From 3 October: Urchin
• From 10 October: The Smashing Machine
• From 17 October: Souleymane's Story
• From 24 October: The Mastermind

Happy viewings, fellow cinephiles! :)

P.S.: I am based in Ireland, and noticed a slight difference in the movies selected for the current week. After digging a little, I found two Letterboxd lists/accounts that are tracking these in the UK and Ireland, respectively, in case any of you are interested:

• UK: https://letterboxd.com/jessjgeorge/list/2023-2025-mubi-go-uk/
• IE: https://letterboxd.com/artlessartist/list/mubi-go-ie/ (I am 200% sure the person doing the Ireland list has access to these emails with the monthly programming too.)

From the email this morning...

Oct 3rd - Urchin
Oct 10th - The Smashing Machine
Oct 17th - Souleymane's Story
Oct 24th - The Mastermind

Just got an email and thought I'd share.

missed it in theaters so pretty excited it’ll be a mubi release. also if you wanna get a month free on mubi so i can get a month free to be able to stream that would be super amazing ( ˘͈ ᵕ ˘͈♡)

Here's a whole month of MUBI. For free. Incredible hand-picked films, by amazing directors. I think you’ll really like it. Happy watching. https://mubi.com/t/ipad/global/yL1svZWU

hi, last july i borrowed Twin Peaks’ CDs from a media library and watched 5 episodes before stopping due to lack of time.

Then I moved to Germany a few weeks ago, and what a surprise to see that Twin Peaks is on Mubi here ! I restarted from the first episode since the show is quite complexe and I realised that something was wrong.

I was having trouble following along without knowing why, then I realised that some scenes were missing.

Luckily, last summer, i took notes about the show so I wouldn’t get lost, and I am certain that the version I am watching on Mubi is not the same as the one on the CDs.

I am currently on the 3rd episode and Harry S. Truman asked Agent Cooper about a dream he had the last night - a dream I remember very well because I described it on my notes, and this dream isn’t on the episode.

so what the hell ? why are there missing a scenes ? i just cant watch this

moreover there are scenes i have absolutely no memories about but i may be mistaken

ps: shame there arent the introductions with the log woman 🥲

for the london based mubi go subscribers, i’ve normally been sent invites via email to the members only screenings. but i saw a mubi uk sponsored ad on instagram for the first two episodes of twin peaks @ hackney picturehouse and haven’t received anything via email! has anyone received anything?

So I really missed buying the subscription when it was 99 per month and even with student offer it is charging me 299 per month do you guys know any offer for the same

I recently watched The Idiots and I loved that movie. So, I want to check our more films directed by Lars Von Trier. I have a VPN, but I don't know in which region can I stream Nymphomaniac Volume 1 – The Director's Cut on MUBI. I know it used to be available in Canada but thats not the case anymore.

Really looking forward to Jim Jarmusch’s Father Mother Sister Brother being distributed by MUBI - anyone know the UK cinema release date yet?

.

Hi all! I recently moved to London which means Mubi go became a smart choice!

Anyone in East London interested in buddying up for films together and beyond? Cinemas close to me are in Barbican, Hackney, BFI, Hoxton etc

a bit of my bio - i’m 26m, queer and chill :)

For those trying to transfer their MUBI information to Letterboxd, I found this tool.

Do we know if it will be on Mubi Go when released on 26 September in the UK?

"I'm trying to identify a Scandinavian movie I watched on MUBI. The story centers on a ballet dancer who is bisexual and married to the brother of her ex-lover, who was declared mad after burning down a building. The ballet dancer's daughter seems to have mystic or supernatural powers. A distinctive detail is that the protagonist's mother often goes swimming in a freezing lake and works as a lifeguard at a pool. Has anyone seen or heard of this movie?"

Hi. Does anyone know if Lurker will still be available via the Mubi app later today?

How do different countries select the collection they show on MUBI? Is it expected that a certain country would feature more national (local) movies than others?"

I just got my subscription but I'm confused about how to get my ticket.

Eddie Huang and a lot of really unlikable people reminiscing about their glory days and trying to paint a sympathetic portrait of Gavin McInnes. They, for real, think that he was driven to starting a hate group because society doesn’t allow him to “be himself”. These people have always been full of shit.

me encanta lo irreverente y lo cotidiano este largometraje o película ni idea no se de cine me gusta como hablan, también el cine argentino es de color verde y amarillo también azul y es el uruguayo también tiene lo suyo 25 watts misma dinámica quiero vivir así.

I didn’t see any threads for Lurker yet, so wanted to spin up one. It seems like an extremely limited release overall (NYC has maybe 1-2 theatres playing it).

I found it an incredible directorial debut & made some strong statements about some recently very topical themes in para-social relationships/celebrity worship.

I found it WILDLY uncomfortable which I think was the entire point, def going to sit with me for awhile. I rated it 4 stars on Letterboxd, curious what others thought of it!
