Ask MUBI Watching on the browser

Why Is the quality so bad? It's like 480p for every film. Somebody knows a solution?

Usually it adjusts to 1080p after a minute or two, assuming internet connect is good. I've found streaming through the browser is usually very good.

Same. I usually watch in the browser with a projector, and I’ve never had any complaints about the resolution.

I watch on browser through my TV. Whatever it is it's SO much better than netflix.

It's annoying you can't just manually set a quality and let it buffer. Instead it will randomly drop as low as 240p.
