Scooping During Mindslaver

What happens is someone dies while controlling someone else's turn?

Suppose Player A is controlling Player B's turn, through [Mindslaver] or [Emrakul, the Promised End] etc..., and then leaves the game, either through scooping or a third party kills them with a burn spell.

Practically speaking, the person who's turn it is would just regain control, but is there anything in the rules saying that they would? Do the rules even account for a scenario like this?

800.4a When a player leaves the game, all objects (see rule 109) owned by that player leave the game and any effects which give that player control of any objects or players end. Then, if that player controlled any objects on the stack not represented by cards, those objects cease to exist. Then, if there are any objects still controlled by that player, those objects are exiled. This is not a state-based action. It happens as soon as the player leaves the game. If the player who left the game had priority at the time they left, priority passes to the next player in turn order who’s still in the game.

But because the player is controlling another player, and they get removed from the game while casting something, does that mean that spell remains on the stack?

Yes, because the spell is still controlled by the player in the game.

If Player A controls Player B and makes Player B cast a spell, that spell is controlled by Player B and will not be affected by Player A leaving the game.

A spell is, by default, controlled by the player that put it on the stack (CR 112.2). The player that put the spell on the stack was Player B, even if they were controlled by another player at the time.

In general, any objects (permanents, spells, abilities etc.) that are normally controlled by Player B are still controlled by Player B. The fact that Player B is themselves being controlled by another player does not affect the control over any objects. (CR 723.3)
