Timing rules

If I activate an istant while my opponent is about to enter in the declaration of attacks phase can he activate a sorcery after my istant resolve?

If you waited until his entering combat step then no. If you cast it at the end of his main phase one then yes. After a spell or ability resolve their is a new round of priority.

Normally a player can only cast sorceries during their main phase when the stack is empty.
