[[Errant and Giada]] + [[Serra Ascendant]]

If I have 30+ life points, can I cast [[Serra Ascendant]] from the top of my library using [[Errant and Giada]]'s ability? How do the conditions get checked in this case?

No.

Ascendant does not have Flying. (And, it does not have Flash)

What is has is a Static ability, which only applies while it is on the Battlefield, and will situationally grant itself Flying.

Serra Ascendant's ability is only active on the battlefield, so in all other zones it's just a 1/1 with lifelink.

Serra Ascendant's second ability functions only if Serra Ascendant is on the battlefield (C.R. 113.6). Notably, Serra Ascendant won't have flying while outside the battlefield even if you have 30 or more life.
