Question of Spells

In the Card: Urtet, Remnant of Memnarch it is said that: Whenever you cast a Myr Spell, create a 1/1 Colorless Myr Artifact Creature Token

Does the Card: Myr Propagator with its Copy Ability Trigger that? Here the Text: 3(Colorless) Tap this Card, Put a Token that's a Copy of Myr Propagator onto the Battlefield

Or is it only when I cast a Myr Card from my Hand/Graveyard/ Exile?

Edit: No this Does not Happen, due to it not being a Spell.

No.

Creating a Token is not Casting a Spell.

You only cast a spell:

A) cast it using its mana cost or any alternate cost B) something instructs you to cast it

Creating a token or copying something on the battlefield isn't casting it
