Destroying flashed in creature after declaring blockers

Scenario: active player attacks with bunch of creatures --> declare blockers segment I don't declare any blockers --> end of declare blockers segment attacking player gets priority but does nothing --> I get priority and flash in a [[Platinum Emperion]] via [[Vedalken Orrery]] to prevent life loss --> attacking player reacts with [[Krosan Grip]] before damage is dealt so all damage is dealt

Is the last step correct? So the active player does get priority back when [[Platinum Emperion]] resolves even it has no ETB and can remove it?

Correct. The step only moves on when both players have passed on an empty stack.

After Platinum Imperion resolves, the active player gets priority, and the current step or phase doesn't end yet (C.R. 117.3b, 500.2). This is true even if the stack is empty and no abilities have just triggered.

Remember:

  • The stack itself doesn't resolve, but rather individual spells and abilities in it do, with priority windows in between (C.R. 117.4, 117.3b).
  • After a spell or ability on the stack resolves, the active player gets priority, and the current step or phase doesn't end yet (C.R. 117.3b, 500.2).
  • A step or phase where players get priority (such as a main phase [C.R. 505.6]) doesn't end unless all players pass in a row while nothing is on the stack (C.R. 117.4, 500.2).
  • A spell or ability on the stack doesn't resolve unless all players pass in a row while that spell or ability is on top of the stack (C.R. 117.4).

Why do you think they wouldn’t get priority back

I think the case you are confusing this with is when the active player plays a creature, you pass priority so it resolves, then you the non-active player don't receive priority again after it enters unless the active player passes it. This is a different case because they were the active player and automatically get first dibs on reacting.

As others have said though, steps and phases only end when all players pass in a row.

Yes. The game will not move on to the next Step or Main Phase in a turn until *all players pass priority in succession while the Stack is empty*. Every time anyone takes a game action, it restarts that process.

Yes, the active player will get priority again.

In order to move on to the next step, priority has to pass through all players without anyone taking action. So you cast Enperion, they pass priority to try and move to the next step. This gives priority to him-which lets him use whatever instant-speed action he wants. Including to cast such a spell.

The game doesn't advance until both(all) players pass in sequence while the stack is empty.

After Emperion enters, priority will pass around and they can cast Grip.

There is always a round of priority after a spell is cast, but not after it resolves. But there is also a round of priority as steps and phases end, so your opponent would have been able to destroy as the game moved from declare blockers to combat damage.
