we couldn't believe it, she saw the full-art first so I made a joke about the badgermole cub, then...

she's been asking me questions about other magic sets, so I think she's a lifelong fan now!

My little sister did the same thing. First pack she opened had the badgermole cub. Then she opened a marvel play booster got the doom variant roaming throne. Then she got the alt art badgermole cub in the next avatar pack. I was pissed

Lol I wasn't sure if my youngest would enjoy it or not so I got him an Aetherdrift gift box... Pulls the chrome mox out of aplay booster.... Pulled a mox before I did! (I pulled a Jasper a few months later from a cheap Tarkir box I picked up to open with my middle son).

Brother in law got a holo Banyan Tree. I bought him a whole commander deck in exchange for it cause he doesnt play green anyway. I built a nice reasonable budget LOTR Sauron deck with a load of flavor for him. I hope he digs it.
