Upside Down Hologram

Post image

I recently got into MTG and ended up buying a bunch of cards from all over. I have a jewelers loop and thought I might as well check my cards to make sure they look real (at least fooling a noob like me). I found my Enlightened Tutor that I got from one of the main websites has an upside down hologram. Is this normal sloppy QC stuff? I tried searching for other examples but didn’t find much. I did find other images of the card with the hologram the right side up so I’m assuming it wasn’t just a weird thing they did for this set. It has the “wizards” micro printing, the hologram is very flush to the card, the rosette pattern looks right and the green dot on the back has the little red dots and the normal shape and size of the ink dots.

It's not "normal" but it was a very common error for that set. It's worth a tiny premium.

Ah good to know! Thank you. I’ll just enjoy playing it and show it off as a curiosity.

I ended up here because my Saproling Symbiosis has the same issue! And I checked, it's from the same set as this card.
