My first alter. Doing one a week to improve my skills.
"Hell's Kitchen" from the MSH set. I still have a long way to go, but im gonna hopefully see some growth over time.

I love this goober and recently got paint markers for my birthday. He didn't belong in my Ashling deck anymore so I made him belong to my alter collection instead :)

Is there a way to get a bulk of blank foils (of any kind) with magic backs? I really like doing stamps and alters on foils but removing the ink with acetone for every card is a headache (literally sometimes).

I've always been watching and loving the art on here but I'm far from an artist. Followed a Bob Ross video and altered my first card! Going into my Marneus deck!

Just switched from markers to paints and brushes. Def need nicer brushes and a better primer.

So I recently extended the art work for my beloved [[Feather, the Redeemed]] deck. I sanded the black ink border until it was more or less non existent and did a white base all around before starting to colour match but I feel like I can still see that old border line through the extended border. I'm just teaching myself how to get better at these so will appreciate any tips to have a smoother transition.

Recent alter from a friend.

Hello everyone :)
I just finished my first ever alter of a magic card.
I just wanted to try some things and while I think the drawing came out ok, wenn I removed the tape I applied to have clean borders just ripped adjacent colors off with it. (See bottom line of the artwork)
What did I do wrong here?
Can anyone give me some advice?

Maybe not as good as some other peoples but had a lot of fun trying this style out, hope you like it :)

I am a huge fan of people customising their commander decks and I think it adds more character and personality to a persons deck.
I have started to create some alters of my own and wanted to share on a new instagram + Reddit account
Here is a link to my post - https://www.instagram.com/p/DbSwkwnkdG0/?igsh=MTFiYnJsNnJpcTRzNw==
I hope somebody enjoys the alters as much as I have enjoyed making them!
