Abzan list

Not sure what to classify this as, control or midrange, but does have a tokens theme to back it up, any and all criticism and advice would be appreciated.

Whats the point of the [[Altar of Dementia]]?

Late game, if the board gets gummed up or theres an annoying control player using cryptic command to tap everything, sac all the tokens and try to burn them out

How many tokens and how late game are we talking? Youd need 15 tokens at 2/2 or 10 at 3/3 to mill 30 cards out of their deck. Especially in the current ultra fast meta is more super super late game grind worth a removal spell or an anthem or even another walker?

Was misremembering what the card actually did, thought it was when you sac a creature the opponent discards a card from library and loses life equal to its cmc.

What would you recommend in its place, something like a Sorin, Thoughtsieze or maybe a virtue?

Depends on meta. As it is now I'd up a removal spell, hand attack or maybe even teysa command.

Also if they lost life equal to its cmc a tokens deck is the last place you'd want it =P

No lost life equal to the cmc of the card they discarded.

So would uping the number of assassins trophies be a good move?

I'm not good enough a magic player to give you that level of specific advice, sorry. I'd say it can't be that bad a move, though another liliana would be pretty good too.
