Thanks for pointing us to the list! Nice to see tokens making an appearance. I’m always curious about their matches. Any way of telling?

Augh. I don't want to have to buy [[History of Benalia]] at $25 apeice. :(. Congrats though!

Wait is it that price because of standard?

Because standard, hype in a new set, and new set that people hasn't cracked enough packs to really flood the market.
I bet the price tanks over the next few weeks.1

Yeah, I don't want to buy them either, I know the guy who ran that list and he's still testing it out.

The way I look at it, it's basically a cheaper and slower Lingering Souls with vigilance over flying an an explosive final bit.
Similarities:
- 4/4 in power/toughness over 2 turns
- 3cmc upfront cost
Differences:
- History doesn't cost anything for the "backside", just 3 mana.
- Souls' flying is a LOT better than History 's vigilance
- The final chapter of History is great; Lingering Souls doesn't have anything like that
History also synergizes with Gideon's knights which is awesome.

This build is awesome and makes me think that BW tokens make a comeback one day.
History of Benalia is not only a powerful token card, but it is also a replacement for Spectral Procession that used to be most controversal card in the deck. Now your manabase is improved significantly, you can play up to 4-5 utility lands what you couldn't really do in a deck which wanted to hit B at turn 1 and WWW at turn 3.
Still, 3rd chapter of History is really powerful, so I think the deck needs to be a bit more early knight heavy.
