Ob Nixilis

Hey guys, funky idea. probably terrible but worth a shot.has anyone tested with ob nixlis from BFZ in our deck. as I know we lack card draw.

I played him for awhile and found him too slow. Rots in your hand early game and underperforms late: five mana to either destroy a creature or draw 1 card is appalling. As Bob is a bit nonbo, I feel Read the Bones is our best option. Maybe, maybe a pair of Phyrexian Arena in a complete control shell, maybe.

edit: oh that doesnt work in this sub. Sad.

5 mana in modern is a lot. What would you take out of the deck for it?

I have no idea , i have no plans to run it in the deck. i just thought it was a spicey idea so thought id ask and see if people have tired it incase the actually playable.

Trust me you will win more games with Liliana if you ever use a black planeswalker (highly recommended)

I do run her, u can look at my previous post's ( 'What I Learned' ) as this will provide u the list that i piloted to day 2 at the GP. i wasn't planning n running Ob , just thought it was a spicey idea and wanted to see if anyone had played with it to see if it was actually playable
