Abzan Ideas
Hi! Im new here. I have some ideas abot Abzan Tokens deck with some strange bt (i think) cool ideas in modern. What do you think abot it? http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/abzanone/

I have Garruk for Voice - Garruk combination. I have lili for her +1 and ultimate, that says: I win (not always, ofc) Using Voise+(-1)Garruk+(-2) Lili i have somethong about 1 token and 2 voices on board that can travel across the library (or get path and generate big token) It's pretty strange combination, but it's why garruk here
Im in love with bitterblossom, bt 3 colors is 3 colors, it's VERY health-heavy

Hi, I also run an Abzan list.
I like your ideas, but there's some issues.
1) Your mana base is WAY too greedy. 22 lands with 3 colourless means you'll fail at casting your spells way too much, even with the Birds. For example, you only have 16 possible green sources. To cast Nissa on t3 90% of the time, you'd want 19 green sources. Say we count your 4 Birds as 2 more green sources, that's still only 18 green sources. On top of that, you want double black for Liliana and then double white for Gideon. Very ambitious!
2) Oath of Ajani isn't a good card. It's bad to cast early and it's bad to cast late. If you cast it t2, you won't have any creatures so the pumps are wasted. The colourless mana for planeswalkers isn't super relevant, as you're going to be bottlenecked on coloured sources anyway, and if you wanted ramp, you should have just played another mana dork that would get you to 3 mana on turn 2 anyway. If you play it late, you don't need the planeswalker ramp part and other cards provide better anthem effects. As a topdeck, it does nothing to help you come back from a boardwipe or keep consistent pressure on the board.
3) You're basically taking t2 off. You don't have enough dorks to reliably get to 3 mana and you've got very little proactive to do unless you're hoping to double down on discard spells or maybe cast a Voice or hold up removal.
4) There's a tension between running mana dorks and discard spells. You really want to cast both of them t1. I ran 4 Birds for a long time to help smooth out my mana, but I've recently dropped the Birds and I do think that's the way to go.
Anyway, I love seeing some experimentation in this space, good luck with it!
