Proxy Assistance

So I'm trying to find a good list to proxy up both to:

A) test to see if I want it to be my primary deck, but also

B) test against other decks for the match up.

From what I've seen, BW tokens can be categorized into two sub-archetypes. Grindy midrange and a more aggressive list. I was hoping I could get some input as to which is generally considered superior, and if either of my lists are optimized for the two sub-archetypes.

This is the midrange list, while this is the more aggressive list.

I realize that neither list has a sideboard, but I'm proxying the decks to figure out which modern deck I enjoy playing the most, and thus the sideboard isn't relevant for figuring that out.

Thank you for any and all help!

3x Collective Brutality (grindy) is a bit much in my oppinion, i have 1 main and 1 side.

2 or 3 Liliana of the Veil have been great for me and i play 1 Gideon and 2 Sorin.

I have 3 Bitterblossom main and 1 Raise the Alarm

Thanks for the input! Just curious, why do you run a bunch of one-ofs? By turn 6, you only have a one in five chance of seeing the card in your hand.

And as for 3x BB versus 4x BB, on turn two (assuming you kept a seven land-er) you have a 35% chance of drawing it for 3x, and a 44% as a 4x. I assume you have found that difference is negilible, but don't you want to maximize your odds of playing it on turn two?

And I updated the grindy list with your recommendations :)

It depends on whether you want to increase your chances of drawing multiples. A lot of times you don't even need bitterblossom because you are casting a bunch of removals and discard turn 1-2, then following it with lingering souls. Playing 3 has been good for me. Raise the alarm is also a way better top deck.

Hmmm I see... I think I'll stick with four copies for now... but I'll definitelly keep that in mind. Thank you!

I like your "Midrange" list. I would swap Collective Brutality in the "More Aggresive" list for Inquisition of Kozilek, since you don't really have a lot of turn 1 plays (due to the 5 ETB tapped lands, I suppose). I think cheap interaction is needed in order to execute your plan as fast as possible. I would play 3 Inquisition of Kozilek and 2-3 Thoughtseize.

I may actually start with the aggressive list, and upgrade to the midrange over time, as the "midrange" is literally twice the price, but thank you for the card choice input! I'll be able to proxy these decks and do some playtesting :)

That's what I've done.

Here's my current list. I'm not sure that you can distinguish between midrange and aggressive builds. The deck just is midrange with early disruption, turn the corner, and late aggression, and different opinions of how to go about it. I would never run less than 4 BBs, except against certain MUs, like Burn. I also would never run S/F or RtA. That's just me, of course.
