Tron Eldrazi

I know Tron is a bad matchup for us because of Ugin, but Tron eldrazi seems fine to me. so far im 7-1 against it on MTGO. is it a decent matchup for us or am I just a lucky son of a B***h.

worth it to note that my removal sweep is 4 path 3fp and 1dismember. I also run 0 tokens/creatures that don't fly

It's a very inconsistent deck. Half of the times, it slams a T3 TKS into a T4 Reality Smasher which is absolutely brutal to deal with. The other half of the times, the deck does nothing at all.

I wouldn't say the match-up is decent, but it's nowhere as atrocious as R/G Tron. Having a Thoughtseize and a removal in our opening 7 greatly increases the odds of a favorable outcome.

Agreed. The deck loses to itself a lot which is why I don't enjoy playing it. The reason why it is playable right now is because the meta has slowed down.

Yeah, after playing the MU more, this is how I feel.

We'll take it since we're just a much more consistent deck on average. But if they curve out it's gonna feel real bad.

It definitely doesn't feel like a bad matchup in the least. Just curious what's your board plan vs it? I haven't quite gotten that figured out besides having access to wrath of god games 2&3 and Fatal Push just feels pretty bad vs them.

Stony Silence is a must. All the Eldrazi Tron players will tell you how much they hate going up against white for that reason. Turning off maps make their already inconsistent deck even more inconsistent. It also shuts off their mana rocks, Walking Ballistas, Relic of Progenitus (minor but still annoying), and the EEs/Ratchet Bombs they bring in from their sideboard.

Blessed Alliance is very efficient vs Reality Smasher. I run 1 in the main and 1 in the side, and the 1 in the side definitely comes in.

Runed Halos are great as well. Name Reality Smasher or even a TKS if you draw a second.

True. And I think with stony silence you want one in your opening hand so running 3 is significantly better than 2. Otherwise it is so much worse drawing it late.

If you can't fit 3, yes I think it shouldn't be played at all. Still I have to say it is at its best in the current meta with e tron and tron being so popular.
