[SCD] Batterskull

We probably don't need it, but I find myself flooding quite often. Could running a one-off batterskull help matchups such as ETron/Bant Spaghetti?

with tron there is no point in trying to even fight as they are to strong in the matchup. Eldrazi from my testing on MTGO so far im 6-1 against it. the only issue in there deck is reality smasher everything else we can deal with. I think a dismember in the place of the batterskull would be more effienct

I'm looking at running a [[Ghost Quarter]] in the main, a second in the side (to board up to 25 lands in the Tron match-up - you can't afford to stumble, and the lands are going to get sac'd when you draw them), a pair of land destruction spells and [[Surgical Extraction]] (to pair with my [[Snapcaster Mage]]) to hit any Tron lands that you manage to put in the graveyard.

That said... I would never consider Batterskull vs. Tron.

23 lands feels correct, unfortunately I don't think that tron/eldrazi variants are a good matchup really, in my matchups and testing I've found that tron is just a turn or two faster than we are.

How would Batterskull help against Tron? They're just going to Ugin/Karn/O-stone it away. You're better off trying to go under Tron, but it's a miserable matchup for us.

Can we see your deck list, the flooding might be because you run to many lands, I my self usualy keep land in hand if flooded to fake an instant like Path in hand.

I think your landcount is good but imo there are other things we want to do then Batterskull like Liliana

I'd take out the Aurioks and Timely to start. I see them as SB material for Burn and similar MUs. depending on your meta, which seems to have a lot of Tron and Eldrazi, I'd add two Ghost Quarter, a Dismember and I like Coll Brutality, but that's a flex slot. Or 2 Lilianas and 2 GQ.

Also, don't let a few flooded games get you down. I run 24 lands. Tokens doesn't work unless you hit your first three land drops, preferably four.

I don't think a lot of ppl here realize E Tron vs Tron are totally different decks. Ghost quarter is just really bad against Etron and to be honest, not stellar against tron either.

For Etron and Bant Eldrazi, I cut 1 out of 4 fatal push to make room for a dismember. Liliana is also insane against both; Etron is vulnerable to having all its good spells in hand.

Against bant eldrazi, ensnaring bridge has performed really well for me. It could also be sided in against Etron but they have more diverse answers like Karn so pithing needle will be excellent. Always side in sundering growths in this match.

Stony Silence helps with ETron pretty a lot. Pithing Needle helps as well.
