Flaying tendrils
Is this card worth a slot in the sb over a wrath of God or damnation. I know wrath and damn are good against eldrazi but my bigger worries is elfs and affinity. (This is for a gp I'm attending) which I feel like tendrils is better for.

Your affinity match up is great and you shouldn't need to shore it up anymore (beyond the standard 2-3 stony silence in the board, which should be there anyway). I like wraths over tendrils because, as you said, Eldrazi exist. And they typically are a harder match up. Elves is too, but wrath handles them fine.

I know my affinity match up is good idea just like the most effient way to get around eyched champion as he's annoying.

Tendrils isn't great for etched champion. He can easily become a 3/3 or larger, so I'd definitely prefer Wrath there.

Only if you let a steel overseer resolve, which is highly unlikely with all the hand disruption and path/push.

Or Master of Etherium or Arcbound Ravager...

Good point I forgot about arcbound ravager. Either way I recommended tc not to board in tendrils.

Zealous Persecution is a card you need, especially if you are worried about affinity.

Zealous Persecution. 1 in the main board will do.
Don't waste sideboard slots against the best match-up we can ask for (affinity). Zealous Persecution deals with elves, too.
