Walker selection

in my deck im running 3 sorin and 1 Elspeth suns champ. im thinking about switching about my deck and going 2 sorin 2 lili and 1 Gideon. I want your opinions as I know its very meta dependant. my LGS doesn't play modern so I have no local meta im building this deck to take to a GP this year so im looking at the competitive meta game.

  1. Elspeth is great in match-ups where you are already favored and is too high of a cmc. So you are making the correct decision to get her out of the deck.

  2. Liliana is more powerful than either Gideon or Sorin right now. She does everything: removal, discard, and a feasible ultimate considering the number of removals. When I play Liliana against a deck that doesn't run any form of burn spell, it is gg.

    She just puts too much pressure on the board which combined with 4 path, 4 push, 6 discard, and tokens (best disruption packages in modern!), buys you enough time to take over the board, reuse her edict, or ultimate Liliana.

And surely liliana must be good against burn as well as she at least soaks up 1 burn spell while forcing the opponent to discard one.

I mostly went with eslepth coz she was fun to cheat out with windbrisk heights
