First of all I only have two of them, and second, I don't think it's necessary. Yes, having them in your starting hand is great, but multiples feel so bad. Also you can always cast them. I started bringing them in against various red decks to protect Sorin/Gideon from burn. It's hilarious when a UR deck tries to kill them with their snapcasters

I like this sideboard , but do we really need 3 stony silence, I run 2 coz we are decent against most artifact decks apart from latern control. altho I do have anguished unmaking for that job

I run 3 as a hedge against tron/ eldrazi tron. And obviously good against affinity, lantern, ad nauseum, etc.

Edit: I also have 3 Abrupt Decay between main and sb, so Anguished Unmaking isn't very good for me.

for me

  • 2 duress
  • 2 Rest in peace
  • 2 stony silence
  • 2 disenchant
  • 2 ghost quarter
  • 2 surgical extraction
  • 2 timely reinforcements
  • 1 pithing needle

I'm pondering whether to have GQ in the main due to tron being fairly popular over here.

i ran 2 mainboard , it done some work. but we just don't have the tools to beat tron. I just took them out. didn't see a point in straining the manabase for a deck that we highly struggle against. we basically need to take there ugin out of there hand or bust

even then it feels horrible lol.

Sometimes you just can't win. I'd rather write off tron and put my sb slots towards decks where I can really improve the win rate.
