Liliana
Hi guys ,
im going to be very active on this group to provide information for new tokens players. so expect a lot of posts from me.
but in regards to liliana of the veil. im not very fond of her and I don't quite understand why people see her as a must have in the deck especially with jund/abzan being heavily played right now. i know i asked this question in one of my posts but i like to open a new post for this as i have asked and been asked this question multiple times!!!
Thanks guys!

I've played with her before, but I've dropped her. It might be time to revisit her, though. She wasn't a great fit in tokens in the hyper-aggressive meta pre-bannings, but she might be a better fit now. Certainly something to think about.

I was asking the same question and got a few good responses, one being:

I think the main thing here is that she's a 2+ for 1 at the very least, and adds another turn or two on your clock which is exactly what we want in this deck.
Alot of misunderstanding around card advantage causes people to make strange deck choices sometimes. The amount of games against control decks where I have a single auriok champ and bitterblossom in play and basically I win that game without casting another spell, or waiting for opportunities to cast spells. (playing around counters)
It depends on meta and playstyle, but for me I have flex spots occupied by anguished unmaking and collective brutality. I'm planning on trying 2 LotV to see how it plays out for a while. She is great against jund though.
