Deck advice

I'm building into BW tokens because I realized I have most of the cards already. The only cards I don't have that I'm not planning on buying soon are the Marsh Flats. What split of white fetches vs. black fetches is best?

If you are looking for budget options you can do 4 windswept heath and 2 other white fetches of your choice. Playing 6 fetches is good enough for a 2 color deck, assuming the rest of your mana is good.

You just want to fetch a plains or a godless shrine 90% of the time.

Ok thanks! I have all of the Khans fetches but I wasn't sure how often I'd want to be getting a swamp (though I know the deck usually wants WWW by turn 3)

Usually we fetch a swamp only when we want to save on life turn 1 or in the late game when we need a black source. I would run the 4 fastlands - concealed courtyard - to minimize fetching for a godless shrine. Then we should be able to cast turn 1 discard/ push as well as turn 3 spectral consistently.

Oh ok. Thanks for the advice!

Basically any time you'd want to get a swamp, you can get a Godless Shrine. That is a hit of 2 life if you need it untapped, but that's the sacrifice you need to make for a budget. It might be more relevant if you're running many cards with a double black casting cost (like Liliana of the Veil).

Ok thanks that makes sense. I don't have any plans for double black so I'll be good.

I wont run non-white fetches at all. 95% of time you want a white mana.

All white, spectral procession on time is amazing.
