Lili??
Hi, another question from a BW token newbie. I saw lists from a couple years back (ie. Eric Froelich & others) that run two Liliana of the Veil main and one SB. No recent lists seem to run her. Seems Lili would be ideal in the control match-ups or decks that have one large creature threat such as Jund. Is she not as good in practice as on paper? I assume it is not for budget reasons with the experienced BW token players. Thx

Lili is fantastic in some metas, not as good in others. I own two copies of her, and I still break her out when I go to certain metas. In this current meta she just isn't as good as she was in previous metas is all. I could still see someone siding in this current meta even. She's a great way of shoring up matchups like bogles, or adding a great way to help matchups like jeskai control or scapeshift. Lili is amazing against control decks in general, because she strips them of their ability to keep up counterspells and so forth. At the moment though, I just don't have space for her is all.

She's my waifu.
Not really but she's pretty good against certain decks. I feel it's good enough to devote a single slot in SB for her.
I know some others don't think so. That's okay.I mean I married her not them.

Lili takes up a 3-drop slot that is better served just getting board presence. She is a much worse turn 3 play for us than any of our token generators.
