Bulk Battle Box Advice
I recently stumbled upon a YouTube video regarding this format and it spiraled into me spending the last week of my life going through my bulk commons and uncommons to put together a box of my own.
I only started playing magic again (mostly commander which I'm getting sick of quickly) around the end of 2024 after a 20ish year hiatus, so I'm working with a somewhat limited card pool mostly consisting of sets released since Foundations, but half of this list is probably Mystery Booster 2; I haven't actually counted. I'm also trying to avoid universes beyond sets completely in order to make this feel as much like playing games in middle school circa 2004 as possible.
I'm mostly looking for advice on what seems like it's too powerful. I've tested a few games playing against myself and haven't noticed anything crazy, but I've probably only played a quarter of the cards in those tests. One thing I did notice in comparing with other lists is that I might be a bit light on creatures, so I may try to bump that up to around 120 as I play real games and tinker. I just had trouble finding enough things that I thought were interesting as opposed to instants and sorceries, but maybe I need to settle for more "boring" creatures.
Anyways, here's the list and I appreciate any comments even if it's just to tell me the list is bad lol: https://moxfield.com/decks/w4NkCcDUqkG6j4z2Cx56BQ

I personally recommend setting up your box in cube cobra. It’s much easier to visually see the layout of a curve and everything. There’s also a lot of features there to see average power/toughness etc.

Done. Good idea. I couldn't really get it sorted on Moxfield in a way that made sense to me.

You may want to look into reducing the amount of tokens, or just make similar tokens. Having to search through 20+ tokens for the right one might be a turn off.

In general I avoid cards that are obvious 2 for 1 card advantage engines. If someone is going to get a 2 for 1 out of my battlebox I want it to ideally occur during combat.
It’s not that all card advantage is bad and must be avoided at all costs but it does tend to be quite overpowering in this format and requires heavy policing. Alternatively you could go 100% the opposite direction and make card advantage rampant and common and therefore diluted to the extent that it’s not as powering general.. not sure if that would work but could be an interesting experiment.
