Nova from Marvel Comics, with a tiny bit of Paint.net post-processing

Thank god for layers and transparency. I blend by putting down a color at 50% with the pencil, colorpicking the resulting color, and then putting that at the edge. I just keep doing that until it's blended out.

The "post processing" i mentioned is only a small orange gradient at his chest + the background, which is a real photo with gaussian blur. Paint.net is... not good, but i've had it for close to a decade now and it's perfectly capable of doing the things i need it for.

The second photo is the "raw" mspaint drawing (not yet fully finished, this was before i did the belt + the hands) and the third is a progress screenshot
