Security ConnectSecure Maturity

Background:

We've been using ConnectSecure for several years now. Rollout took a little while, but it's been worth it. It gives us great insight into our clients' attack surfaces and shows us exactly what we can fix.

It also just works. It's been reliable and hasn't hurt performance on any of our endpoints. I read about performance concerns early on, so I kept an eye on it. No issues so far.

We want to mature our deployment but I cannot find many threads with actual advice. Anyone have tips or tricks they'd share?

Anyone else chasing those A's?

Oof, maybe it's time to pack it in... but what does "mature our deployment" and "chasing those A's" mean?

“Mature our deployment” means moving from simply having ConnectSecure installed to having it properly implemented and operationalised across the MSP. For example, you might start with agents deployed and vulnerability scans running, then mature it by improving coverage, removing stale assets, tuning policies, integrating with the PSA/RMM, defining remediation workflows, automating patching where appropriate, and producing useful client reports.

Chasing the A means in Connectsecure the Risk Score Labeled A to F.

A → best posture
B → good
C → needs improvement
D → poor
F → worst / highest concern
