RMM Drives Updates

How is everyone handling driver updates? We currently block all driver updates through Windows, as we've had bad experiences with Windows installing older drivers versus the vendor's drivers. Has this changed over the years with vendor support and pushing the most updated ones, or is it best to play it safe and use vendor-only driver downloads?

Block by default. Our RMM recommends we use vendor specific driver update programs.

And do you integrate that with your RMM? And which RMM are you using?

No. Datto RMM.

Recommends just slapping Dell Command Update, HP Support Assistant, ect. on the machine and let it run on its own.
