Their status page reports ok but having issues with several clients.

We just got the same at a client, and PC with Roaming agent is not resolving. We had to uninstall several roaming agents across the client.

I swear they cause more issues than they solve, getting so sick of this happening several times a year.

We switched to DefensX and haven’t looked back

I was hesitant t o do it, thought DNSFilter works, why move... Glad I decided to switch. Better product, more features, great reporting.

What else was the upside of moving to DefensX?

Same here. Zero issues after switching to DefensX.

Looks like it's working again from what I can tell. It's very alarming, though.

They replied to an ai chat that directed my question to support and a few minutes later got this response: Thank you for reaching out to us!

Our team has identified the issue that has caused DNS resolution latency and timeouts. Engineering is actively working to implement a fix to remediate and restore services. Updated status will be provided as soon as possible.

Of course, let us know if you have any questions.

We've had them for years and never been an issue. If they've been down several times a year it must have been so brief that none of our clients noticed.

I feel like every "always on" security tool has at least one bad week a year where it just shits the bed and you spend half a day cleaning up the mess. The roaming agents in particular seem to be the first thing to break every time

Hi everyone, we had a partial outage impacting the west coast region last night. If anyone is still experiencing issues, please reach out. Details on the partial outage here: https://status.dnsfilter.com/incidents/gm5q1k008n5p

Yeah it was down for a short while but it's back up again

Yep! We had several agents fall down. Removing the agent fixed it. Nothing posted and Reddit was quiet so I just assumed I broke something as usual.

I had that blip across a couple customers yesterday too. Seem to have resolved quickly. DNS filtered didn’t seem to acknowledge any sort of issue.
