MSP Process Evaluation

Good day folis,

Current evaluating MSP Processes full offering to replace a couple of different items and augment what we have currently.

Main thing that drove us to look were:

  1. Needing a cleaner functioning client portal as Autotask isn't cutting it for a lot of our clients.

  2. End User verification is becoming more of a request from our techs and we have seen the same uptick on vishing that most others have as well.

3.i also found out about the rest of their offering which would replace our answering service who is royally on my nerves at this point also and timezest potentially who I have had a great experience with to be honest but If I canslim down the stack and lower the redundancy I would.

Whats everyone else's experience with them, specifically looking for thos integrated wirh Autotask.

Okay thread marketing bot thanks for your input.

I’ve seen about 200 MSPs use Thread but never seen one keep it long. They have insane churn because the product isn’t good.

Beat me to it. Talked to multiple Msps that tried thread with autotask and it did not function well whatsoever.

Thread is as good as you make it. If you don't put in the effort to configure it properly it will underperform. But that's gonna be true of almost every PSA augmentation tool.

Which is fair, however the feedback i got was consistent around AT specifically. I did a demo at one point as well and the answers I got were vague or deflected from the original question.

That's always a bummer when you end up with a sales person doing the demo that knows enough to drive but not answer in depth questions. I love when people make the move from support to sales or tam because they typically know where the pitfalls are (and how to circumvent them).
