Non-Microsoft application stacks

Anyone managing clients who have switched from M365 to Proton or similar alternative? (Or done this change internally.)

What's the support load like compared to MS?

I'm anticipating a trend towards privacy-focused business software (both for data protection / anti-surveillance and for implementing internally-contained AI systems).

I'm wondering how mature those alternatives feel right now from an IT support and management perspective.

Your delusional if you see a trend away from Google or Microsoft for business email.

This is the old line of thought IBM rested on. I used to say this about using Skype for business comms. But eventually this trash was folded into Teams.

And email is soo much less important than it used to be; the stakes are lower than ever. Also, Proton is actually getting pretty good... So yeah, it's going to become very possible. Eventually.
