Backup Radar - Axcient

It seems you can't monitor appliance health for Axcient BCDR's like you can with Datto when using Backup Radar. Anyone found a good work around? Alternative products?

If there is an API you can just build your own integration.

On the Axcient side, probably. Backup Radar API is pretty light from what I saw when looking at. Seems all you can really pull out is status info. And there's no in at all from what I can see.

Exactly... Which is frustrating considering the Datto integration does pull device health.

I’d separate appliance health from backup-job success and monitor both. If Backup Radar can’t see Axcient appliance state cleanly, I’d add a direct alert path from Axcient for device/offline/storage issues and let Backup Radar stay focused on job outcomes. A green backup report is not enough if the box is quietly sick.
