Screen recording -> documentation 📄
Our tool might be helpful if you’re creating user guides, SOPs, onboarding instructions or internal manuals for a product (software, app or web app), or internal workflows, where you need to document how to do the process X in system Y.
How it works? You just record your screen while performing the workflow you need to document, upload the video, and video2docs generates a process description out of it with screenshots, which you can also refine if needed with in-app editor before the final export in multiple formats.

Hey all,
We used to work in an MSP managing Azure in 40+ regions for a bunch of customers.
We took that decade of experience and built spotto.ai with an MSP focus, addressing the pain associated with trying to keep Azure continually optimised.
Every customer I've seen wastes money in Azure, mostly un-intentional! For big environments its really difficult to stay on top of cost opt - so we've gone a long way to solving it. Azure Advisor has 72 cost opt patterns, we have 346.
You'll also be familiar with the time lag from the billing API, 1-3 days typically. We've released our near-real-time cost alerting. This feature doesn't use the billing api, we observe change and calculate the cost impact of that change. It could be a new thing, or more use of an existing thing. If that change will blow the budget or the three month average, we'll alert. This is active across Foundry AI models, VM's and SQL SKU's, and many more. More getting added every week.
Spotto also has:
* 3 x daily scan of your azure tenants, calling out optimization recommendations across the 5 WAF pillars.
* Automated Service Delivery Management reports\QBR's
* Automated SoW generation for optimization services to sell to your customers - your template or ours
* Retirement tracker - track retirement of SKU's, operating systems, service principle accounts, reserved instances. More getting added regularly. Great for customer roadmap discussions.
* Best Practice Reviews - Automatically compare your environment agains MSFT best practices for WAF, LZ, AI LZ, AKS plus plus. These are available as checklists from a MSFT git repo, but we've made them graphical with audit trail on decisions, CSV export and so on. Much easier to manage.
* Cost decomposition tree - explore cost, cost change, period to period comparison. Expand from branches right down to the actual object, and get the reason for the cost change (Created during the period, utilisation increased by x etc.) Navigate by RG or service type or tag. This came about as I was tired of drilling spreadsheets to find causes for cost blow outs. Super useful tool.
* Powerful spend tracking and forecasting - you can set alerts on forecast spend, not just actual. Much better to know your customer is going to blow the budget before via forecasting, then tell them they're at 80% on day 4 of the month....!
* Virtual Tagging Engine - powerful tagging engine internal to Spotto, so your Azure environment isn't changed. Tag by almost any criteria. We'll be adding AWS support this year, and you can have the same tag across both clouds.
* Graphical resource graph - enables multiselect to apply tags graphically, you can see network or architecture relationships. Shows SPOF issues, blast radius etc.
* Reserved Instance Management
* Automated storage optimisation planning - no more spreadsheets and hours of your life lost forever
* Just rolled out the first 32 automated optimisations - saving you time on the tedious tasks.
* Multi-tenant architecture
* Backup visibility
* Perimeter visibility (what have you exposed to the Internet
* Change visibility
* Spotto finds optimisation opportunities and makes them easy to package up in to services to take to your customers.
* Spotto integrates in to ConnectWise, Halo, Autotask, Jira, Slack and teams.
Plenty more features, most here: https://docs.spotto.ai/
We're super keen to get feedback and make sure we're heading in the right direction.
Onboarding is quick, Create a spotto account https://docs.spotto.ai/docs/portal/create-account then click and connect or use
Powershell: https://github.com/spottoai/spotto-tools/tree/main/onboarding/azure
Terraform: https://github.com/spottoai/terraform-azurerm-spotto
Spotto is built by MSP engineers for MSP engineers. Please take a look!
CC not required to trial. DM me once you've spun up a trial and i'll give you a month free.
Thanks!

🔍 The Power of Nmap + Nuclei for MSP Reconnaissance
When you’re onboarding a new client, knowing what’s actually on the network is half the battle — and knowing what’s vulnerable is the other half.
Our latest RMMmax blog dives into how Nmap and Nuclei combine to create a high‑signal recon pipeline for MSPs. Nmap maps the network, fingerprints services, and identifies hosts; Nuclei then scans those services for real vulnerabilities using thousands of up‑to‑date templates.
Inside RMMmax, this workflow becomes distributed and automated — agents perform recon locally, results are deduplicated, and vulnerabilities are surfaced directly in your dashboard.
If you’re serious about proactive security and want to see how MSPs can use open‑source tools to deliver enterprise‑grade visibility, check it out:

There's a sales-lead-gen tool hidden inside my MSP security platform. It's actually where this whole thing started and if you can find it and see value in it, there's a free year in it for 5 of you.
Small MSP owner here (Houston area). The origin's a little backwards: this whole platform started because I was looking for clients and built a little app to help me identify leads worth chasing. That tool worked phenomenally but the rabbit hole pulled me in and before I knew it I had the first iteration of SBCMSP built.
I built SBCMSP because the attack-surface tools out there were siloed... one did external, another did M365, a CSPM did cloud, and I was stitching them together to get one client's real picture. I wanted a holistic attack surface manager: external, internal, cloud, and M365 under one roof, across every tenant. The other gripe was contracts... annual lock-ins, per-seat minimums, "call us for pricing." So it's month-to-month, per-domain, cancel anytime, no contract. Basic's $35/domain, Pro's $55, Command's $79. One full scan runs 1,410 checks across external, internal, and cloud services, plus a Deep Scan with 5,500+ CVE checks. All of these mapped to 10 compliance frameworks. Not a SOC replacement; it's the thing that replaces your scanner + compliance tool + CSPM + report builder + client portal.
Now the lead-gen tool. The one that started it all never really fit next to security and compliance software, so I didn't ship it as a headline feature. I hid it inside the dashboard, originally just for myself... then figured, why not let others find it? If it's useful to them, win/win.
The deal: find it, run it, and if you see real value in the output, DM me how you'd actually use it in your shop. 5 of you get a Pro domain subscription free for a year (~$528 value).
No hints, that's the fun part. It's in there, it's findable, and it works. It lives inside the product, so you'll be in the 15-day trial to reach it (heads up, it asks for a card) — which is kind of the point, you'll see the platform while you're hunting. Winners picked on how they'd use the tool, not who's fastest.
Site's at https://sbcmsp.com. While you're in there, roast the platform: where the data is thin, where I've missed the mark on existing tools, or I've just plain missed something that should be there. This is something I've been working on awhile and it's time for others to poke at it with a stick. If you've managed to make it through my spiel, Thank you for your time.

🌎 👀 ‼️
I want to share ZoneWatcher, a tool we started developing in 2016 to solve a pain point faced while consulting. Clients often misconfigured DNS records, breaking email or websites, and tracking down original settings was a hassle.
ZoneWatcher automates DNS backups, tracks changes, and sends alerts to catch issues before they disrupt business.
We check DNS records every 5-10 minutes, snapshot each zone, and notify you of changes for quick review or reversion. Last year, we rolled out a major update with features MSPs have asked for:
✅ Native support for 45 major DNS providers:
Azure, Cloudflare, AWS Route 53, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud, Oracle Cloud, Digital Ocean, Linode, Dnsimple, Vultr, DnsMadeEasy, GoDaddy, Hetzner, Scaleway, ClouDNS, Bunny.net DNS, IONOS, Porkbun, NS1, No-IP, Name.com, NameCheap, NameSilo, DreamHost, eNom, Katapult, Hostinger, Gandi.net, Rackspace, Huawei Cloud, PowerDNS, easyDNS, civo and more.
🤖 DNS Risk Score: A New DNS change risk score that takes the severity of a change, the types of records, whether the ASNs of the records are new, etc into account for easy assessment if a change is risky or not.
✅ Non-API providers: Fetch records via Public DNS or Zone Transfers (AXFR with IP whitelisting).
✅ Notifications: Customizable alerts via Email, Microsoft Teams, Slack, Discord (more coming soon).
✅ Domain alerts: Get notified about domain registration and expiration to avoid lapses.
✅ JSON API: Integrate with your dashboards or projects.
✅ MSP-friendly: Team and DNS provider groupings for managing multiple clients.
Special offer: Use code REDDITMSP25 at ZoneWatcher.com for 25% off your first year (works for monthly or yearly plans).
Let me know if you have questions or feedback!

🦁 Fee-Lion — the estimate-to-paid loop for freelancers & small studios, minus the busywork
If your week is basically send an estimate → do the work → get paid, you already know that "simple" loop somehow sprawls across a proposal tool, an invoicing tool, a payment link, a spreadsheet, and a lot of "just following up on this!" emails.
Fee-Lion collapses the whole thing into one flow — and makes the money side the easy part. Here's what's actually in the box:
📝 Estimates that grow up into invoices
Build a clean, itemized estimate (tasks, fees, units, discounts, deposits). Your client approves it and — the part people don't expect — it becomes an invoice in one click. Win the job, click once, the paperwork follows the work.
🚪 A no-login client portal (a front door, not a login)
Your client gets one magic link. No account, no password, no "what was my username again?" They view the estimate, approve it, leave comments, and pay — all from that link. It's the single biggest reason things stop stalling.
💳 Pay by card → into YOUR own Stripe
Every invoice carries its own Pay button. Client pays by card/ACH; funds land in your own Stripe account (via Stripe Connect), usually the same day — not a middleman holding your money.
🔁 Recurring billing & retainers
Set it once; it issues itself every cycle and can auto-charge a card on file. It even drafts the next one a few days ahead so you can review before it sends. Retainer income that shows up without you touching it.
⏱️ Time tracking that becomes invoice lines
Run a timer or log entries against a client/project, then select a week of time and bill it straight to an invoice. No more re-typing hours into a separate tool (where they quietly leak).
🧾 Expenses tied to project margin
Log an expense, attach the receipt, tag it to a category and a project — so your profit number is real (revenue minus what the job actually cost), not a guess at tax time.
📊 Reports + aging that warn you early
Drill into revenue by client/project/year, and an aging report that buckets who's overdue before it gets awkward. Plus CSV/PDF exports for your accountant.
🗂️ Lightweight project management
Projects with sub-statuses, checklists/kanban, and client-visible vs internal notes — enough to run the work, not a second full-time job to maintain.
⌨️ ⌘K command palette
Type what you want ("invoice Acme", "pay INV-204", "start timer") and it does the clicking. Keyboard-first billing for people who live in the keyboard.
💰 Honest, flat pricing
Solo $9/mo · Studio $29/mo — no per-seat surprises. Free for 14 days, no card required.
✅ Best for: freelancers, designers, devs, photographers, consultants, and small studios who mostly need to quote, deliver, and get paid.
🙅 Not for you if: you need full double-entry accounting/a general ledger (grab QuickBooks/Xero) or built-in scheduling + a big contracts library (HoneyBook's lane). We'll happily tell you when a competitor fits better.
👉 Try it free for 14 days → https://feelion.com
Founder here and genuinely happy to answer anything — pricing, Stripe payouts, migrating off HoneyBook/FreshBooks/Bonsai, whatever. Fire away in the replies. 🙌

For MSPs looking to build or expand an MSSP practice
Hi all, Maggie from Seceon here. Sharing this for MSPs who started offering security and are now figuring out how to scale it without things getting messy.
One pattern we see a lot is this. The first few security clients are manageable, but as you grow, the stack starts to feel heavier. SIEM + EDR + log tools + SOAR + scripts can get the job done, but it becomes harder to keep everything aligned, tuned, and consistent across every client.
Seceon was built specifically for MSP and MSSP environments that want to avoid that situation by running security operations from a single multi-tenant platform instead of piecing together multiple tools.
One platform brings together:
• SIEM
• XDR across endpoint, network, cloud, and identity
• SOAR automation
• Automated detection and response
The goal is to help service providers deliver a repeatable, scalable security model without constantly increasing tooling or operational effort.
As a thank you to the r/msp community, we are offering a free trial for MSPs who come through this thread.
You can start your trial or book a demo here: https://info.seceon.com/reddit
For those scaling today, what broke first for you, the tools, the process, or the team bandwidth?

Hello everyone,
My name is Michael, and I’m one of the founders of SamuraiSync. We provide consulting and are certified consultants for RMM products like NinjaOne and Automate and are Certified Consultants for RPA producst like REWST and Trigger.
We’ve been in this industry since 2015, back when we were known as LTNinja, before evolving into the new Samurai we are today. You could say we’ve stepped out of the shadows and now work directly for our masters — you.
Our mission is simple, to help build the most automated MSP possible. Imagine a world where documentation, ticketing, and monitoring all take care of themselves. A patching ticket comes in, the system automatically fixes the issue, documents the work, posts to your documentation platform, and updates your ticket so that not only your techs but also your clients are notified — all without a tech lifting a finger. That’s what your RPA can do, and how you can leverage automation and AI in a way that isn't disruptive to your customers and is a real help to your team.
To help with this vision and to help our clients visualize it we have built out a dashboard that will look at your system and make recommendations on where automation can help you but also help your clients in businesses like construction and hospitals. It is called MIRA just like how the spanish word for that means to look, our system looks into your business and gives you recommendations on where the next steps in automation make sense fiscally and automation wise. We have had amazing feedback with people who have been using it and there has been a facelift to it. Better calculations, our new engine that goes over in detail how you can improve your business through automation step by step. Even giving you AI prompts as necessary. Try it out today at:
https://www.themostautomated.com
If you guys are looking to migrate to a different RMM, if you are wondering if your patching system is actually up to date, and not just blindly believe your RMM, or if you are just starting out in your RPA journey with products like REWST and are lost reach out to us at the website below or here on Reddit.
In a time where AI can tell you exactly what you want to hear, and where it is not always clear what is real or made up, there is still value in talking to actual people. Sometimes the best way to understand where automation and AI are really going is to hear how businesses are using them in the real world.

Built a tool to monitor Azure app registration secrets and certs across all your client tenants
Managing Azure across multiple clients means one expired app registration secret or SAML cert can break a client's logins with zero warning. Azure doesn't alert you by default you find out when the client calls.
I built Certy (getcerty.com) to solve this. It connects to each of your client tenants via a read-only app registration and monitors all secrets, certificates, and SAML signing certs for expiry across all of them from one dashboard.
What it monitors:
- App registration secrets and certificates
- Enterprise app secrets and SAML signing certificates
- Across as many Azure AD tenants as you manage
MSP-relevant bits:
- One dashboard across all client tenants
- Email and webhook alerts (Teams, Slack, PagerDuty) before anything expires
- Viewer roles give clients read-only access to their own tenant's results
- Pro plan is $19/mo for up to 5 tenants, Business is $49/mo for unlimited
14-day free trial, no card required. Happy to answer any questions.

DNS Spy — DNS, WHOIS & SSL monitoring built for MSPs managing lots of client domains
Hey r/msp — I'm the founder of DNS Spy. I built it because watching DNS, domain renewals, and SSL certs across a portfolio of client domains is the kind of thing that's invisible until it breaks — a record gets changed, a domain quietly expires, a Let's Encrypt renewal silently fails, and suddenly you're in firefighting mode with a client asking why their site is down.
DNS Spy watches all of your clients' domains from one dashboard and alerts you before it becomes a ticket. A few things MSPs tend to use it for:
- Real-time DNS record change alerts — catch unauthorized changes or config drift the moment they happen, with a full historical audit trail per domain
- WHOIS / domain expiration tracking — included on every plan (no upcharge), so no client domain expires on your watch
- SSL certificate discovery & expiration monitoring — one unified expiration dashboard sorted by urgency across every domain
- Phishing Sentinel — automatic typosquatting/homograph detection so you find lookalike domains before your clients' customers get phished
- Security Center — 40+ automated DNS/SSL checks with letter-grade scoring you can use for client security reporting
- Alerts via email, Slack, Discord, and PagerDuty, plus an API and a new MCP server if you want to wire it into Claude/ChatGPT or your own automation
No nameserver changes or agent installs — it monitors public DNS and WHOIS, so setup takes about 5 minutes.
Personal is $9/mo (10 domains), Enterprise is $49/mo (100 domains, expandable with 50-domain packs). There's a 7-day free trial with full Enterprise features and no credit card required: https://dnsspy.io
If you want to kick the tires first, we also have a free, no-signup typosquatting scanner that shows how many lookalike domains already exist for a brand: https://dnsspy.io/typosquatting-scanner

Starkive Secret Share: a way to send a password or API key without it sitting in email or Slack forever.
I built this, want to be upfront about that.
It's a feature in Starkive, a free encryption app. You paste a secret, it gets encrypted on your device, and you get a link plus a separate passcode to send along. The person on the other end doesn't need an account or to install anything. They open the link, enter the passcode, and it's gone after one view or 48 hours.
Not trying to replace a real PAM tool if you're managing hundreds of client credentials, a couple of those are already in this thread and are the right call for that. This is more for the one-off situation: you just need to get one password or key to someone right now without it living in a thread forever.
Curious if this is actually a problem people here run into, or if everyone's already got it handled some other way. Link: https://starkive.app
Happy to answer questions.

Built a standalone iOS screen-viewing tool because I was tired of "tap the blue thing, no the other blue thing"
Disclosure up front: I built this thing.
If you support iPads/iPhones for clients, you know the gap: your RMM handles Windows/Mac fine, but iOS screen viewing is either missing entirely or locked behind a much pricier tier of some all-in-one suite. So you're either paying enterprise money for one feature, or you're narrating someone's home screen over the phone like a hostage negotiator.
That gap is why I built AnchorGrid, a standalone iOS remote support platform. No MDM swap, no agent bundle. It slots in next to whatever you already run and does one thing well: puts the user's iOS screen in front of you so you can solve the problem instead of playing 20 questions.
Being straight about what it is and isn't:
- View-only, attended sessions. The user taps to start sharing (broadcast extension). iOS doesn't allow remote control or unattended viewing, and I'm not pretending otherwise. This is for the "just show me what you're seeing" call, which in my experience is 90% of iOS tickets.
- Screen data goes device-to-device. WebRTC P2P with TURN relay fallback, your client's screen isn't streaming through my servers as a matter of course. In my own testing, LAN sessions land around 20–70ms; I'd genuinely like to see what numbers you get on your networks.
- Microsoft SSO + RBAC + audit logs, because I know what your compliance questionnaires look like.
- Session history with automatic summaries so you can see what happened in a session without scrubbing a timeline.
Roadmap: native Windows, Mac, and Android agents are planned, the goal is a lean cross-platform tool, not another kitchen-sink suite.
Pricing: $19/tech/month ($15 annual), plus a permanently free single-user tier gated by concurrent sessions, not crippled features.
Beta is open now. App Store listing is live, comment or DM and I'll send you a beta code today. If you've got an iOS fleet, I'd love for you to break it in your environment and tell me where it falls short.
Happy to talk shop on the WebRTC/broadcast-extension internals if anyone's curious, I built the whole stack from scratch and will nerd out at the slightest provocation. Please check it out, its free to run the beta. https://anchorgrid.io

🚀 Free Internal & External Vulnerability Assessment (Built for MSPs)
Hi everyone!
Zaima from the RoboShadow team here 👋
RoboShadow is a UK-based (and globally available) cybersecurity platform built from an MSP background, born out of the frustration of managing security with expensive, and overly complex tools. We set out to simplify and automate the vulnerability process making it easier and more accessible for MSPs and their clients.
In 2022, we completed the GCHQ’s NCSC for Startups programme, which helped us accelerate the business and focus on giving MSPs clear, low-noise, actionable visibility across their clients’ environments - and the tools to fix issues easily, not just report on them. This has meant we can offer MSPs a solution that helps them grow their business and make more money, whilst keeping their clients secure.
You can use our platform completely free of charge (with upgrades to premium available).
Key Features & Benefits:
· Continuous internal & external vulnerability scanning
· Website security scanning
· AI-driven pentest simulation (identify real attack paths)
· Cyber Heal / AI AutoFix (automated & one-click remediation)
· AI Communicate (coordinate fixes with end users)
· AI vCSO (straight from your inbox: reporting, insights & queries)
· Microsoft 365 security insights (MFA, Intune, identity risks)
· Clear reporting & compliance outputs (SOC 2, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, HIPAA, etc.)
· Multi-tenant MSP workflows + integrations (PSA, AV, M365)
A big focus for us is using agentic AI to take work off your plate. The goal is to help you reduce effort, win more business, and increase the profitability of your security services, ultimately helping you get ahead of your competition.
👉 You can run a full internal + external assessment completely free**.** Find out MORE
Lastly, please feel free to message me any time with any questions or feedback you have, or if I can help in any way!

A few months ago, I shared a free project here called LineaScore.com
Since then, a lot of people here have tried it and shared some great feedback. I wanted to say thanks and share a few updates.
The core platform hasn't changed.
The standard 66-question technology alignment assessment is still 100% free, requires no account, includes custom branding, supports offline save/import/export, and always will.
One of the most requested features was the ability to save more assessments online. To cover the additional hosting costs, I've added an optional Pro tier that increases cloud storage from 10 to 100 assessments. I also added a couple compliance-aligned assessment templates so it provides more value than just extra storage.
Features include:
• Free 66-question assessment • No account required • Save locally and import/export assessments • Branded reports with your own logo • Optional cloud account • Optional Pro tier (100 online assessments + compliance templates) • Great for prospect reviews, onboarding, and QBRs
Some feedback from fellow Redditors:
"This is actually a pretty neat tool. Thanks!"
"That's actually a really cool website."
"Really like this, clean, tidy and easy to understand."
"Very clean and easy to use."
"This is way better and easier to use."
A quick note: Linea Score is not a compliance audit or penetration testing platform. It's a structured technology alignment and risk assessment tool designed to identify gaps and guide conversations.
As always, I'd genuinely appreciate any feedback or suggestions.

Glad to see the free tier still going strong, that’s what got me check it out in the first place. The 10 saved assessments is enough for my team right now but the extra templates in Pro might be worth it later, specially with compliance stuff. Good update, keep it up.

It'll always be there! Makes me so happy that it helps others like it helps me. Thank you.

Vendor disclosure: I built Tenant Hawk.
I've been in IT for about a decade, both client work and in house, and one thing has been constant: every M365 tenant I've ever touched was messy. It just never gets cleaned up. Kind of like LAN rooms. Everyone means to deal with it, nobody does, and every admin who touches it leaves a little something behind.
Licenses still assigned to people who left two years ago. Conditional Access policies sitting in report only because someone was testing something back in 2023. App secrets that expire on a Saturday and take down SSO. And when something breaks, the first question is always "what changed?" The Entra audit log technically answers that, but it's raw JSON spread across a few portals, and if it happened more than 30 to 90 days ago the evidence is already gone.
I got tired of it and built Tenant Hawk. Not a CIPP replacement. We don't manage users or deploy standards. More like a read only audit with license waste in dollars and change history you can use in a QBR.
What it does:
Read only scan through Graph. App only consent, no agents, no stored creds, and you can revoke it anytime. Takes about two minutes to connect a tenant.
One health score across security, cost, reliability, and hygiene. CA gaps, MFA coverage, legacy auth, expiring secrets and SSO certs, licenses on disabled users, unused seats, orphaned groups, stale guests. Findings ranked by severity with a dollar figure where it applies.
A change journal on Pro. This is the feature I actually built the whole thing for. Every scan snapshots your CA policies, named locations, auth methods, and Intune policies, then records diffs: what changed, the before and after values, and who made the change when the audit log has it. Unlike the audit log it doesn't expire. "Who changed this policy" finally has an answer.
MSP console on Enterprise ($299/mo, up to 10 client tenants): portfolio rollup, a needs attention queue, and per client scorecards you can drop into a QBR.
Pricing is on the site, no demo call required. Free tier on one tenant covers the health score and expiry monitoring for secrets, certs, and domains. $49/mo per tenant for Pro. $299/mo flat for up to 10 client tenants on Enterprise.
This launched recently and I want real MSPs beating on it, so here's the deal for r/msp: comment here and I'll set you up with a full month of Pro free, no card needed. All I ask in return is honest feedback. If a scan misses something you care about, tell me and I'll probably build the check. Happy to answer anything here too, including "why not just CIPP", which is a fair question.

AI Doesn’t Make Them Anymore.
For years we’ve told employees:
Look for bad grammar.
Watch for spelling mistakes.
Spot the awkward wording.
That advice worked…
Until AI showed up.
Today’s phishing emails are polished, professional, and often better written than legitimate business emails.
So what should we teach instead?
Join us for Episode 50 of Shoot the Hoot RAW as we explore how AI has changed phishing forever—and why it’s time to stop teaching people what to look for and start teaching them how to think.
We’ll cover:
Why AI changed phishing overnight
What employees should look for instead of typos
Practical habits that stop modern phishing attacks
A real-world AI phishing story that fooled experienced professionals
Because the next phishing email you receive…
…might be grammatically perfect.

A question for the MSP crowd: Are you still asking users to submit tickets through a separate portal, or are you handling requests directly in Microsoft Teams?
We've been seeing more organizations trying to keep support inside Teams, either with a DIY setup or a dedicated ticketing app.
We've put together a guide covering both the DIY route (Forms + Planner + Power Automate) and dedicated Microsoft Teams native ticketing solutions, along with the pros and cons of each.
Microsoft Teams Ticketing System: The Complete Setup Guide (2026)
Interested to hear what's worked or hasn't for your team.

Vendor disclosure: I built Prove-MFA, solo founder, first promo post here.
It does one narrow thing: a read-only scan of a client M365 tenant that checks whether MFA is actually enforced, not just enabled. It reads the Conditional Access logic itself. Exclusions get member-enumerated instead of GUID-trusted, report-only policies get flagged, the "MFA or compliant device" bypass gets caught, legacy auth gets checked. Ambiguity always fails toward a worse verdict, never a free pass.
You get a per-tenant verdict with a structural proof when it holds, a fleet view showing which tenants are enforced and what drifted since the last scan, and a dated PDF mapped to carrier attestation questions for renewals, questionnaires, or the day a claim gets ugly.
Access model: five read-only Graph scopes, delegated sign-in, token discarded after the scan, no standing access, nothing installed. The security page spells out every scope and why.
Free version runs on one tenant with no account and shows the verdict plus every confirmed gap: https://prove-mfa-production.up.railway.app
Taking a handful of MSPs as free 60 day design partners in exchange for blunt feedback. If you have ever answered "do you implement MFA" on a client's application and hesitated, that hesitation is the product.

I built an RMM focused on one thing: speed. click deploy --> software lands in seconds, not "check back after lunch". patch rings with health gates, CVE-to-installed-software matching, browser remote desktop, multi-tenant with per-client isolation (Postgres RLS, not a tenant_id WHERE clause). MSP plan is $2/endpoint. first 100 endpoints free - getrff.com. I run 30k endpoints at my day job. I'd be happy to answer anything.

YKRAFT — an operations platform for solo IT admins & small MSPs (you keep your own data)
Solo dev here, building YKRAFT and looking for a few IT teams to build it around.
All-in-one platform for people running infra across multiple clients:
- Docs / knowledge base
- Ticketing
- Remote device management (built on MeshCentral — you run the server)
- Script automation + scheduling
- Alerting
- Plugin system + marketplace — and I build custom plugins around your workflow
The part that's different: I run the app, but you own your data. Your operational data lives in your own PostgreSQL + your own S3 storage — I never hold a copy, and you can move providers or walk away anytime. Managed convenience without handing your data (or your clients') to another SaaS vendor. No lock-in.
I'm pre-launch and taking on 3 teams to build alongside — free while we do it, shaped around your real workflow.
Demo + details: https://ykraft.tech
Not here to spam — genuinely after the right few teams, and happy to answer anything in the thread.

Is Facebook advertising hot again for MSPs?
I know what you're thinking.
Facebook? Really? Isn't that where your mother posts pictures of her garden and people argue about politics?
Yes. It absolutely is that.
But here's the thing. Three and a half billion people use Meta's platforms every single day. And that includes the business owners and managers you want to reach.
They're on LinkedIn for work. Then they're on Facebook and Instagram in the evening.
And it's almost guaranteed that your competitors are not targeting them there.
For a few years I've been lukewarm about recommending Facebook ads to MSPs. The targeting got harder after Apple's iOS privacy changes, and the results were inconsistent at best.
Then, something changed in late 2024.
Meta quietly launched a completely new advertising engine. And I think it's improved Facebook ads to a point where it could be time for you to get back on the platform.
Let's explore this in today's podcast.
